Eau Claire Education

Eau Claire prides itself on outstanding education, whether it is at the K-12 grades or higher-education level. Eau Claire provides its students with quality education from teachers who truly care about their success.

Eau Claire Area School District -The K-12 education consists of 12 elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, and two charter schools in the district. As a whole, the Eau Claire Area School District's excellent education has been well noticed and rated in the top 15 percent of preferred school districts in the nation by a national independent study from parents and employers.

Regis Catholic Schools - There are five area faith-based private schools, including three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Total enrollment in these schools is approximately 800 students.

Other parochial schools include Bethel Christian School, Crestview Academy, Eau Claire Lutheran School, Immanuel Lutheran High School, Messiah Lutheran School, New Hope Christian School and St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran School. The enrollment for these schools ranges from about 20 students to almost 150 students.

Higher Education

UW-Eau Claire - Approximately 11,233 students attend UW-Eau Claire, a University that has earned honors in the US & News World Report's "Best American Colleges" Guide, Kiplinger's Finance Magazine and The Princeton Review.

UW-Stout -Located in nearby Menomonie, UW-Stout is the recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and is home to about 9,356 students.

Chippewa Valley Technical College - CVTC has seven campuses in in the area and provides students with high quality education and employers with an amazing resource for job training and skilled workforce.

Globe University - A campus of Minnesota College of Business, Globe University offers Bachelor and Master degree programs in Business Administration, Health Care Management, and Information Technology.

UW-Eau Claire ranks No.5 in the Midwest

The 2012 edition of "America's Best Colleges" ranks UW-Eau Claire No. 5 among the top regional public universities in the Midwest and 32nd among all private and public institutions in the Midwest.
