University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC)
Over 9,000 students attend Eau Claire’s university, which offers over 100 academic programs. The college has earned honors in the U.S. & News World Report’s Best American Colleges Guide, Kiplinger’s Finance magazine, and The Princeton Review. It has also been named among the best public regional universities in the Midwest and frequently ranks in the top five.
Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC)

Over 7,000 students attend Chippewa Valley Technical College, which offers 110 programs, 37 certificates, and 16 apprenticeships to an 11-county area through the Wisconsin Technical College System. The college is known for delivering innovative and applied education that supports the workforce needs of the region by focusing on working with businesses on training needs and placing their graduates.
